16: Monitoring and Implementation 16.2 Collaboration and Engagement STGRB support the belief that "The skills, awareness and competencies of the city's residents and users in additions to agencies and stakeholders at city, regional and national level are critical to building and maintaining the city's momentum on achieving sustainability” (pg. 772). STGRB request that a dedicated DCC Community Engagement Facilitator be assigned to SDRA projects such that meaningful, genuine and honest consultation will happen and that DCC take full ownership of the process. This will lead to compliance with the Aarhus Convention, promoting public participation in decision making.
